To describe Lapland would be attempting to describe magic. Winters with mounds of snow, summers with twenty four hours of light, walking through forests covered in snow in winter and picking the fruits of summer – berries and mushrooms from the same forests which have come to life with a myriad of green shades and birdlife so prolific the noise is voluminous.
