Arrival Stockholm. Stockholm city has an abundance of charm, history and tradition. This urban and trendy city will impress you with its interesting museums and castles. Built on 14 islands, you’re never far from the water in Stockholm. . Sights of interest are the Vasa Museum, the Skansen Open Air Museum, City Hall, the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and many more. If you prefer, take an optional guided city sightseeing tour or a cruise (depending on the time of the year) to the Stockholm archipelago.

After breakfast at your hotel this morning, the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore on your own or take an optional guided sightseeing tour of the city.

Breakfast at your hotel. You have the entire day to discover the parts of Stockholm that you did not have time to see yesterday. In the evening you will board the overnight train to Swedish Lapland.

Arrive Boden where you will be met and transferred to the fabulous Treehotel located in Harads, near the Lule river. The village has a population of about 600 and features a restaurant, shop and guest house. The Treehotel features seven futuristic Tree Rooms all minimalistic and eco-friendly giving the ‘back to nature’ feeling. We recommend you book some activities in advance to enhance your stay.

A short transfer this morning takes you to the Arctic Bath Hotel and WOW, what and experience this is going to be! Built to float on the river, you approach your floating room by means of a walkway connecting it to the shore. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the on-site spa will ensure this is an all round wellness experience. An array of optional activities are available – both for winter and summer. This is a yet another truly unique experience.

After breakfast, transfer to Luleå train station to board the train to Kiruna and you final accommodation – the Icehotel. All the suites in the hotel have an individual theme, hand carved by artists from all over the world. Snug and warm in your thermal sleeping bag, this will be another ‘close to nature’ night.

Wake up this morning to a cup of hot lingonberry juice. If you still need warming up after this, then a sauna is the way to go! This day is at leisure to enjoy some of the many optional activities on offer. Your second night at the Icehotel will be in a Warm Room so no sleeping bag needed this time around!
