Sweden’s Capital is charming, vibrant and surrounded by beauty and water – hence its nickname, Venice of the North. Stockholm city has an abundance of charm, history and tradition! This urban and trendy city will impress you with its interesting museums castles and warm atmosphere of the old town. Take time to explore the small and winding alley ways – the perfect area to find a suitable restaurant for the evening.
After breakfast the day is yours to continue exploring Stockholm. Breakfast is available on the train (own cost) before your arrival in Kiruna. Transfer from the train station to the Icehotel. Tonight you’ll experience an overnight in the Icehotel. The Ice rooms are especially comfortable and spacious – you will get a good night’s sleep in minus 5 degrees. You sleep in thermal sleeping bags on a special bed built of snow and ice, on reindeer skins.
This morning you are awakened with a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside. Breakfast buffet with morning sauna and towels included. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Icehotel. Many activities are available for you – may it be husky sled rides, Sami experiences or Northern Lights adventures all of which are reservable in advance.
After breakfast transfer to Kiruna train station to board the train to STF Abisko Mountain Station, at the heart of Abisko National Park. 250 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. Visitors from all over the world come to Abisko to experience arctic Sweden and if they’re there at the right time, to see the magical Northern Lights.
After breakfast at your hotel, it’s time to put on your snowshoes. Head out across the snow-covered landscape towards an opening glade in a birch wood forest where the mountain scenery becomes visible – a long valley framed by beautiful mountain tops, clothed in white. After a break to take in the scenery and enjoy a light snack and a hot beverage (a classic Swedish “fika”), head back to the station. This evening taken the chairlift up to the Arctic Sky station where, as your eyes will adjust to the pitch black skies, you’ll see more stars than you’ve possible ever seen in your life. Adding to the wonder of the evening, you’ll enjoy a four-course dinner of Nordic influence. Another possible chance to view the Northern Lights so keep your eyes peeled.

On the one hand, its location is spectacular, pincered by islands to the west and mountains in every other direction, while spectacular fjords stretch north and south. At the same time, the city is still quite industrial by loading several million tonnes of ore annually from train wagons on to ships.
Breakfast is served at your hotel. Today you have the opportunity to view Narvik from the top of the mountain and to get there, you’ll take the 1810-meter long cable car. The views are simply breathtaking. During the afternoon, you’ll board the Arctic bus and continue to the city of Tromsø.
Breakfast at your hotel before taking the cable car up the mountain for spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, mountains and fjords. The city is situated in the heart of the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis zone, and one of the better places to experience this mysterious phenomenon.
