Arrive in Copenhagen and transfer by your own arrangement to your central hotel. Copenhagen effortlessly blends it’s royal heritage with modern Scandinavian style. This morning you’ll set off on your walking tour with a guide taking you to the Copenhagen ‘Must Sees’. Lots to see, stories to be told and picturesque houses with their splashes of colour. And who know, you may even get a sighting of our own Princess Mary when you wander past the Palace. Afternoon at leisure.
Time to leave Copenhagen behind and travel by train to Stockholm. Stockholm spreads across 14 islands, where elegant architecture meets waterfront views. Cobblestone lanes, royal palaces, chic boutiques and world-class museums create a sophisticated Nordic city rich in culture, history and charm.
This morning join your guide for a walking tour to see the sights of Stockholm. Free time after your tour to explore on your own and wander the Old Town (Gamla Stan), browse the Christmas markets and soak up the festive atmosphere with a glass of hot glögg. Late afternoon transfer to the port for your overnight cruise.
Tallinn capitvates the essence of fairytales with its beautifully preserved Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage treasure of cobblestone streets, medieval walls and Gothic spires. Highlights include Toompea Hill, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Town Hall Square, ancient guild houses and panoramic viewpoints overlooking red rooftops and the Baltic Sea. A charming blend of history and modern flair. Here you will join your guide for a walking tour of the Old Town and immerse yourself in its history and character.
Day at leisure in Tallinn to explore this intriguing city on your own. There’s always a surprise around the next corner. Don’t miss a visit to the vibrant Balti Jaama Turg market with it’s three levels of fresh food, clothing, antiques vendors and hip eateries.
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the port for your two hour ferry crossing to Helsinki. This is no run of the mill ferry – it’s a modern cruise liner with duty free shopping, entertainment and restaurant. Never a dull moment on this crossing!
The festive season is a special time to visit Helsinki – it’s a time where streets are illuminated with myriads of lights and store fronts dressed with beautiful festive displays. Afternoon at leisure to visit the Christmas Market.
Depending on the Ice Hockey League schedule, it may be possible to attend a game this evening as an optional activity. Information only available after October 2026.
Helsinki is a compact city, making it easy to explore. This morning, your guided tour will showcase the city’s most fascinating sights: the historic centre, stunning library, impressive City Hall, Parliament buildings and unique Temppeliaukio Church, also known as the Rock Church Free time for own sightseeing until early evening.
Evening departure by overnight train to Rovaniemi. Be sure to stop by the onboard restaurant for a drink with the locals and to try the legendary Finnish meatballs with mash and lingonberries.

Arrive in Lapland and transfer to Pyhätunturi. After dinner this evening, settle into a heated sleigh pulled by a snowmobile and glide through the wintery night in search of the magical Northern Lights.
Ever dreamed of being a husky musher? Huskies are spirited and strong — able to pull up to five times their own weight with ease! Your adventure begins with an introductory talk about the huskies and some driving instruction. Then it’s time to put your musher skills to the test as you set off through the forest with a passenger in your sleigh. Hold on to your beanie — it’s going to be a thrilling ride!
Just 20 minutes from Pyhätunturi, in the village of Luosto, lies the world’s northernmost Amethyst Mine. Perched atop the fell, the Mine offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Even getting there is part of the adventure — a scenic ride in a carriage pulled by a snow tractor. After an informative presentation about the mine, it’s your turn to dig for your very own lucky stone — a sure hit with the kids! The afternoon is then yours to enjoy at leisure.
For those ready to hit the slopes, Pyhä Ski Area is ideal for beginners eager to learn downhill skiing or snowboarding. Prefer something even more active? Try scenic, invigorating cross-country skiing instead. The ski shop provides all the equipment you need, and English-speaking instructors are on hand. With floodlit slopes and trails, the adventure continues both before sunrise and after sunset.
Today’s a very special day — it’s the day you meet Santa! You’ll need a personal invitation for this one, and it’s only given to well-behaved boys and girls, big and small. So take note — the elves are out and keeping an eye on you!
Enjoy some free time to choose from optional activities. If you’re heading out on a snowmobile, you’ll receive full instruction and gear before setting off.

If you’re looking to relax, then take the opportunity to use your included chairlift ticket and ride to the top of the fell for a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. If you start to feel the chill, just step into the cosy restaurant at the summit for something warm to enjoy.
Tonight’s dinner is a lavish Christmas feast with an abundant hot and cold buffet — so be sure to save your appetite!
Sadly, your magical days in this winter wonderland have come to an end, and it’s time to say farewell to Pyhätunturi. But the adventure isn’t over yet — your next stop is Santa Village in Rovaniemi! Enjoy free time to explore and soak up the festive atmosphere of this famous destination.
