Copenhagen is also famous for its cafes and bakeries.

From Gudvangen, the journey continues by bus through Nærøyfjord Valley and past the Stalheimskleiva with its 13 steep hairpin bends. The last part of this trip will be by train from Voss to Bergen, Norway’s second largest city and the world’s only city surrounded by seven mountains and seven fjords.

Day 8Bergen

Breakfast at your hotel. Day at leisure. We recommend a visit to some of Bergen’s many attractions such as the Hanseatic Bryggen Harbour, the Fløibanen Funicular, which takes you up to a height of 320 metres above sea level where you are presented with a great view over the city, Grieg’s home Troldhaugen, the Fish and Flower Market or the Bergen Aquarium. Days 13 & 14Helsinki

Morning arrival in Helsinki. Over these two days, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know Helsinki, to visit the little backstreets to find the unique items on offer in the little shops. The tour takes you to the historical centre, City Hall, The Parliament buildings, Finlandia Hall and the Opera House besides other well known sights. It also stops at either the Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church) or at the Sibelius Monument if the church is close.

If you’re visiting between the beginning of May and mid September, a definite MUST is to take the 45 minute pub tram tour through the centre of Helsinki. SpåraKOFF, a bright-red tram that has been converted into a bar, has been a part of the Helsinki summer for 24 years and is operated by Helsinki City Transport.
