Itinerary

Arrival in Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, ranked amongst the greenest and coolest cities in the world by the New York Times! Copenhagen is a modern capital but with strong roots in the past. It is welcoming, dynamic, lively and charming, and it is also an ideal base to explore Denmark. Copenhagen is best explored by bike which can be rented many places in town.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the castle of Kronborg, also known as Hamlet’s castle. You will continue to Hillerod and rederiksborg Castle, where you will now find the Danish National Museum of History. Continue your journey to reach the city of Roskilde with its famous cathedral, dating from the twelfth century. In addition, you can visit the Viking Ship Museum admire its ancient vessels dating back to the year 1000.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will cross the longest bridge in Europe, Storebæltbroen (the Great Belt Bridge, toll charge to be paid on spot!), connecting the island of Sealand to Funen. On arrival in Odense, you will discover the city of Hans Christian Andersen, a Danish writer and poet, famous for his fairy tales. Odense is a city that combines ancient and modern but is also ideal to get familiar with one of the most popular products in Denmark: the craft beer!

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will head west and reach a small but nevertheless well-known place in Denmark, Billund. Billund is home of the famous Legoland: a miniature world built entirely of Lego. Then continue north-east to Aarhus, one of the great cities of Jutland where an open-air museum, Den Gamle By, is located. This museum is devoted to culture and customs of local people from 1500 until today.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then start your journey north to discover Skagen where the land narrows to become a sandbank battered by the waves of two seas. Skagen is located between the white dunes with heather in bloom. On the waterfront, you will find small restaurants serving excellent shrimps and all types of fresh seafood.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today your journey continues south to the town of Kolding. The most important monument of the city is the castle Koldinghus which has been, over the years, a fortress, a royal residence, ruins and a museum. In town, you will also find the Trapholt Art Museum dedicated to modern art.

Breakfast at the hotel. This day is dedicated to visiting the beautiful capital of Denmark, a modern city that has retained its original charm. Copenhagen is often considered as a benchmark amongst the world’s best cities for quality of life, despite the cost. With its long history and a wide variety of attractions and sights, we never run out of things to do or see.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time to visit Copenhagen and its many attractions. Departure from Copenhagen depending on your itinerary.
